Tom Rosier BSc, MSc, MCSP

Clinic Director | Physiotherapist | Sports Therapist | ViMove Assessor

At the start of Tom’s career he was heavily involved in sport. Rugby and Athletics were his main sports and ones he loves to watch whenever possible.

Playing for university 1XV teams in Huddersfield, Colchester and Tadley he has a great understanding of the game and the pressures sport has in general has on the body. Sprinting in the 60m national championships also gave Tom an insight into the stresses and demands that athletes deal with on a daily basis.

From this love of sport and exercise Tom completed his BSc in Sports Therapy working with elite sportsmen including the Hudderfield Giants (Rugby League Premiership), Bury FC and local sports teams. Then he went on to complete his MSc in Physiotherapy from Essex University where by he would learn his trade as a physiotherapist. The combination of degrees has enabled Tom to learn more than most about the human body, its capabilities and how to manage sporting and non-sporting injuries.

Straight after qualifying for his MSc he went on to work as a physio in the NHS completing his rotations which encompass areas of physio including; respiratory, neurological, orthopaedics with his favourite being musculo-skeletal.

Learning a great deal from the NHS he decided to go privately as this was a dream of his since starting his higher education at university. 5 years of working hard and at multiple locations he finally settled into his very own physio and movement studio on 20th Jan 2017. A very proud moment that will last for a long long time.

Jo White

Personal Trainer & Performance Expert

Jo is dedicated and passionate about making a difference to people’s health and wellbeing, through seeing his clients achieve their goals. With over 25 years experience in the fitness industry teaching military personnel and civilians alike he uses all methods of physical and adventure training. With this experience in mind the most effective method to improve physical performance is Functional Fitness.

Functional fitness uses exercises to enhance the way your muscles / joints work together and prepare them for daily tasks by simulating common movements you might do at home, at work or in sports. Training like this enhances sports performance, prevents injury and increases the fluidity of movement and control which in turn makes life more comfortable.

Jo is good fun, engaging and knows an awful lot about heath and fitness. You can have 1:1 sessions with him or join his growing class on Thursdays at 6.30pm.
